"When we strive to become better than we are, everything around us becomes better too"
— Paulo Coelho
After completing my Human Kinetics degree at St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia, I returned to my hometown to pursue my Masters of Physiotherapy at the University of Ottawa. Growing up playing ringette and soccer, I have always been involved in sports and love competing! I became interested in the field of physiotherapy while dealing with my own injuries and was inspired to pursue this career in the hopes of helping others in similar situations.
Throughout my academic tenure, I delved into various fields of physiotherapy, gaining exposure to diverse areas such as acute care in hospital settings, rehabilitation of neurological and complex musculoskeletal conditions in a specialized center, and addressing orthopedic and sports injuries within private clinical physiotherapy settings.
The experience I gained over the past two years, working with such a diverse range of clients and conditions, has fortified my dedication to providing tailored, effective, and compassionate care that fosters not only physical recovery but also an enduring sense of well-being and confidence in each individual I have the privilege of assisting.
I have cultivated a high degree of versatility in my assessment and treatment planning. Whether you're seeking assistance with post-operative care, recovering from an acute ankle sprain, or navigating a series of complications that challenge your day-to-day functional tasks, my diverse background has shaped a comprehensive and holistic treatment philosophy and an unwavering commitment to empowering my clients through education.
In my spare time, you can find me staying active by running, cycling, skiing and weight training. I also enjoy camping, traveling, and spending time with family and friends!
