"I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become"
— Carl Jung
I pursued my physiotherapy career in Beirut and later moved to Montreal, where I completed both a Master’s degree and a postgraduate diploma at the Université de Montréal. Over the past ten years, my love for physiotherapy has steered me towards advanced training with a multitude of complimentary certifications; namely, Pelvic Health, Vestibular Rehabilitation and TMJ disorders. I’m an advocate for lifelong learning and I’ve been fortunate to develop a solid expertise in treating both women’s health conditions and a variety of musculoskeletal conditions.
My deepest passion lies within Pelvic Health; with a Female and Pediatric Focus, I truly enjoy supporting women of all ages through menarche, pregnancy, postpartum and beyond. I completed my certifications in 2021 and had the privilege of being mentored by Marie-Josée Lord, a pioneer in the field of pelvic floor therapy in Canada. This formative experience greatly shaped my clinical approach and strengthened my dedication to treating Pelvic Floor dysfunctions with sensitivity, wisdom, and precision. Since then, I have created and delivered specialized workshops to raise awareness and provide education around this essential area of care to further advocate for women’s health. Now based in Ottawa, I’m so excited to be practicing at MOOV in a collaborative and safe space for healing.
Outside the clinic, you’ll find me traveling, cycling, doing Pilates, or playing the piano; always seeking movement, learning, and connection!
