The MOOV Pelvic Health Rehab approach is based on the integration of our clinical findings and your individual goals to develop a treatment plan that is relevant and meaningful to you.

Whereas traditionally Pelvic Health was an issue dealt with isolated exercise such as Kegels, we have taken the Pelvic Health Rehab a step further and integrated it back into function by helping you implement pertinent strategies.  Incorporating up to date evidence-based advice and recommendations we strive to help you in your pelvic floor rehabilitation journey.

The Pelvic Health Assessment typically includes 3 main components.

A detailed examination of your bladder, bowel and gynecological health history to better understand its impact on your life.

A comprehensive posture, breath, mobility and physical strength assessment to discover how they influence your pelvic health.

A thorough evaluation of your pelvic floor using internal palpation, to assess your true ability to recruit and relax the muscles of your pelvic floor.

MOOV Pelvic Health Rehabilitation offers assessment and treatment of various musculoskeletal and pelvic health conditions associated to women’s health such as but not limited to:

  • Pregnancy and postpartum health and fitness
  • Pelvic girdle pain: coccyx, sacro-Iliac joint, symphysis pubis
  • Urinary incontinence (stress, urge, frequency)
  • Pelvic organ prolapse (cystocele, rectocele, uterine, vaginal vault)
